If the Apple warranty has expired or doesn’t apply, Appledoorn provides its own warranty starting from the date of purchase.
Our warranty covers all defects resulting from factory faults or technical malfunctions. In such cases:

Software issues?
We’ll be happy to help. In some cases, a full factory reset may be necessary — we’ll always discuss this with you beforehand.
Physical or water damage: Damage from drops, impacts, pressure, or moisture isn’t covered.
Dirt or improper cleaning: If damage occurs due to dirt or incorrect cleaning, we cannot offer warranty support.
Unauthorized repairs: If the device has been opened or modified by a third party, the warranty is void.
Most Apple products we sell fall under the margin scheme for second-hand goods. That means no VAT is shown or charged to the consumer — ideal for private buyers.
Are you a business owner? Please note: in these cases, VAT cannot be reclaimed.
Occasionally, we sell products with 21% VAT — these will always be clearly marked with “incl. 21% VAT” or “VAT” in the product listing.

At Appledoorn, we believe it is important that you know exactly what to expect from a device. That is why we work with clear product grades. All products are fully tested and function 100% as intended. The difference between the grades is purely cosmetic.
New / sealed
The product is completely new and comes in its original sealed packaging.
New / unused
Het product is nieuw of nauwelijks gebruikt. Vaak is het toestel slechts enkele keren opgeladen of getest en verkeert het optisch vrijwel in nieuwstaat.
Like new
Het product verkeert in uitstekende conditie met hooguit minimale gebruikssporen die nauwelijks zichtbaar zijn.
Scratch-free
Het product is volledig vrij van zichtbare krassen of gebruikssporen. Zowel het scherm als de behuizing zien eruit als nieuw.
Scratch-free screen
Het scherm/display is volledig krasvrij. De behuizing kan lichte gebruikssporen bevatten.
Scratch-free glass
Het glas van het product is krasvrij, maar de behuizing kan lichte gebruikssporen bevatten. Dit ontstaat vaak door gebruik met een beschermhoes.
Excellent condition
Het product heeft minimale gebruikssporen die tijdens normaal gebruik nauwelijks zichtbaar zijn.
Good condition
Het product heeft normale lichte gebruikssporen, zoals kleine krasjes of lichte slijtage aan de behuizing.
Used
Het product heeft zichtbare gebruikssporen, maar is technisch volledig in orde en werkt perfect.
Clearly used
Het product heeft duidelijke gebruikssporen zoals meerdere krasjes, slijtage of kleine deukjes. Uiteraard functioneert het toestel technisch nog volledig goed.

The battery health of a device is checked through the standard Apple settings under:
Settings → Battery → Battery Health
This is available on iPhones, Apple Watches and some iPads. Because Apple does not display this information on every model, we also use professional diagnostic software to accurately verify the battery condition.
We check factors such as maximum battery capacity, charge cycles and overall battery performance, where supported by the device.
Battery health is displayed as a percentage of the original battery capacity. The higher the percentage, the better the battery performance and battery life.
Battery health guideline
• 100% – Maximum battery capacity
• 90% to 99% – Excellent condition
• 85% to 89% – Good condition
• Below 85% – Not sold by us
Batteries are wear-sensitive components and gradually lose part of their maximum capacity over time. As a result, a device may drain faster compared to a battery in newer condition.
This way, you know exactly what to expect from the battery performance of your device in advance.
